The challenge
NEOM’s unified analytics vision brought together data in different formats and volumes from systems including command and control, SAP and Oracle Aconex. Business teams needed a simpler way to access operational information and perform ad hoc analysis, with consistent governance and protection for sensitive data.
The approach
The 2022 profile describes Apigee as the planned primary access layer for the Unified Data Analytics Platform. Standard REST APIs would expose platform capabilities, including machine-learning models, while central security, masking and governance policies would protect access. The architecture separated shared access controls from the data-processing capabilities behind them.
